In a spirit of reverence, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion share the Body and Blood of Christ with the assembly. They can also take Holy Communion to the homebound or those in hospitals. To be an Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, you must be confirmed and have attended a Eucharistic minister training session. Sessions typically occur once a semester.
