Homilies

Fr. Dan – 5th Sunday of Easter: The consolation of the Holy Spirit makes us bold and disciples.

Homework for the week: In your silence and prayer this week, beg the Master to fill you with the consolation of the Holy Spirit and with the boldness to speak out in the name of Jesus.

Fr. Dan – 4th Sunday of Easter: Who Shepherds You?

Homework for the week: Take a look at your use of time this week: how much access do you give to the world and how much access do you give to your faith? Be like Jesus, the gate and good shepherd of the sheep, be an access point to spiritual life, nourishment and protection.

Fr. Dan – 3rd Sunday of Easter: Thinking about Jesus vs. Encountering Him.

Homework for the week: Let Jesus walk with you, beside you, everywhere you go. Think of him there, make room for him there, make room for him in your car, in your house, in your office, in your yard or field. Let him walk with you. And don’t be afraid!

Fr. Andrew – 2nd Sunday of Easter (Divine Mercy Sunday)

Fr. Dan – Easter Sunday: Christ is risen! He is risen indeed!

Homework for the week: In your striving to be faithful, run to the Sacraments this week.
Columbia has daily Mass at early morning at Lourdes, Noon at Newman, and evening at Sacred Heart. And Newman has confessions every day during the holy hours, as well as Tuesdays at 5pm and Saturdays at 4pm. Be faithful, and run to the Sacraments.
