Homilies

Fr. Dan – 13th Sunday In Ordinary Time: How to approach Jesus and with eager expectation.

Homework for the week: what is the absolutely most important thing you need from Jesus this week? Stir up your faith and your courage; cast out the doubts (“In the name of Jesus, spirit of doubt, be cast out!”); fall at His feet, and beg Him earnestly and perseveringly to act with power on your request so that the Church may be built up.

Fr. Dan – 12th Sunday In Ordinary Time: How real is Jesus to you?

Homework for the week: The Fear of the Lord is a gift of the Holy Spirit. Beg the Lord to stir up a great and active Fear of the Lord in your life this week so that you will be eager for His mighty works to be done in you and around you.

Fr. Dan – 11th Sunday In Ordinary Time: The Lord desires to transform you!

Homework for the week: Pray with boldness, with bold faith this week to be transformed from a worldly seed into a majestic plant filled with the charisms of the Holy Spirit to build up our Church.

Fr. Dan – The Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary: How does an immaculate heart ask questions?

Homework for the week: Think about the question or questions you’d most like to ask the Lord this week. And then try to rephrase the question by removing all selfishness from it. That alone will be a big task. But also ponder in your heart the divine in your life.

Fr. Andrew – The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ

Fr. Dan – Solemnity of The Most Holy Trinity: God is no abstraction

Homework for the week: Transcendence and immanence: strive to be mindful this week of the ways both transcendent and immanent that God reveals Himself all days this week.
