Homilies

Fr. Dan – The 23rd Sunday In Ordinary Time: Freedom from the world’s restrictions

Homework for the week: Pray this week about two things: First, ask Jesus what are His peace terms for you to get to heaven. Second, pray for the freedom of the Holy Spirit.

Fr. Paul – 22nd Sunday In Ordinary Time

Fr. Dan – The 21st Sunday In Ordinary Time: Jesus is the narrow gate.

Homework for the week: Let’s strive to be mindful this week that everything we do, we’re doing “in His company.” And let’s strive to acknowledge His presence as much as we can. The fruits will be out of this world.

Fr. Dan – The 20th Week In Ordinary Time: Making judgments and decisions through the Cross and the Baptismal Fire of the Holy Spirit.

Homework for the week: Pray this week for fire in your soul! Don’t be afraid of the Cross that helps us to make good decisions. Pray for fire in your soul to live a truly Christian life.

Fr. Dan – 19th Sunday In Ordinary Time: What about your current life is more important than heaven?

Homework for the week: Strive to be vigilant this week in putting heaven above everything else. That doesn’t mean we neglect our responsibilities, but that we strive to be detached from worldly things. And have some vigilant prayer at home, also!

Fr. Dan – 18th Sunday In Ordinary Time: We’re all called to the evangelical counsel to poverty.

Homework for the week: Think this week about what it is that you would struggle to give up or to share with another. And ask the Lord to help you grow in freedom.
