Homilies

Fr. Dan – 30th Sunday In Ordinary Time: Understanding God (and His Church) has to begin with trusting Him.

Homework for the week: Name something where you don’t trust God or His Church. And pray for a loving and listening heart.

Fr. Dan – 29th Sunday In Ordinary Time: Our addiction to sin, and our image of God.

Homework for the week: Go to confession to cleanse the image of God in your soul. And offer to Him all that belongs to Him, including your very soul.

Fr. Dan – 28th Sunday In Ordinary Time: Jesus in the way?

Homework for the week: Make time this week for real Christian rest or leisure, real quiet prayer, with no distractions. And if you feel boredom, sadness, anxiety, etc., know that’s what the Lord wants to heal and transform, and invite Him to do just that.

Fr. Dan – 27th Sunday In Ordinary Time: The Lord’s relentless pursuit of His harvest!

Homework for the week: In your prayer this week, pray to the Lord as your Beloved, and surrender to Him all of your possessions; most importantly, open wide to Him the door of your heart. “Come to me, O Lord God, my Beloved.”

Fr. Andrew – 26th Sunday In Ordinary Time

Fr. Dan – 25th Sunday In Ordinary Time: Working in the vineyard, and the true work of the landowner.

Homework for the week: “Work” this week to seek and find the Lord in every person you see. Whatever you do or don’t know about them, you know they’re beloved by the Lord in His image and likeness.
