Homilies

Fr. Dan – 5th Sunday of Lent: Death is more than a tragedy!

Homework for the week: Pray for zeal! And pray that you can die to lukewarmness in your faith.

Fr. Dan – 4th Sunday of Lent: Nikki by night or You by the Light?

Homework for the week: Strive to be a disciple this week by witnessing to or standing for that faith. It’s not about beating someone up with our faith. It’s about loving Christ more than our own comfort.

Fr. Dan – 3rd Sunday of Lent: Jesus takes charge!

Homework for the week: Ask Jesus to cleanse your temple and to transform it into an authentic house of prayer for the heavenly Father.

Fr. Dan – 2nd Sunday of Lent: The oath of God and the transfiguration of us.

Homework for the week: Listen to the word of God this week (I recommend you read the scriptures for daily Mass each day this week. You can find them on the USCCB website-you can even register there so a daily email is sent to you with the readings.) Listen to the word of God and pray that your spiritual sight may be purified to see God’s glory.

Fr. Dan – 1st Sunday of Lent: The Holy Spirit (and confession) is our ally!

Homework for the week: Make a list this week of the deepest desires of your heart. Then ask the Lord to purify your heart. And then trust Him with your heart. In fact, let’s entrust Him with our heart right now…

Fr. Dan – 6th Day In Ordinary Time: Healing and connection in the spirit is the key!

Homework for the week: Remember and live the primacy of the spiritual this week, first in your relationship with Christ, but also in your other relationships. Desire to be made clean in your spirit!
